One of the senior BCN members , James raced as a junior in the 90s and rediscovered his passion for road racing on the eve of his 40th. James is a Vet racer and is most adept on bumpy , hilly courses. He has continued to improve as he gets older and is looking to specialize in TT’s and open road events. His biggest challenge is juggling family like with cycling.

Boxing, I was a good little Boxer
Who in the cycling world would you like to go for a ride with?
Pantani but that’s impossible now so… Alaphilippe, the guy can climb, descend, wins the real races, the classics and carried a nation in the 2019 Tour.
Which other sport do you mostly follow and which club or athlete do you support?
I follow most sports but I don’t really idolise anyone or any team.
What city would you most like to live in?
Milan… Food, fashion, skiing and cycling

Which of your scars has the best story behind it?
Scars… have more scars than clean flesh, I suppose the biggest and best is my Hip replacement, Titanium femur baby !!!
What food do you love that a lot of people might find a little unfamiliar?
Kele Wele ( Ghanaian fried spiced plantain) or Nduja a Calabrian spicy sausage paste.
