A hands-on guy, I always had a passion for bicycles from cycling, building, servicing and repairing them since the age of 10. In my early teens I got involved in many sports; football, athletics, martial arts and snooker/pool. I’ve always cycled with friends, to school/college and work. In 2013 my friends and I done L2B night ride for charity, I entered my first cycle race in 2016 but raced more competitively in2017 to present. Working in the cycle industry for a numerous of years has fed me information of all the cycling tech out there. Armed with this knowledge I can help anyone with any cycle related question #askjohnny

Which of your scars has the best story behind it?
A scar on my right knee, was commuting home from work and an oncoming car driver out of nowhere turned into a side road. So the driver had to pass my right of way but unfortunately the driver didn’t check properly and cut me up which in turn caused me to fly off my new bike into oncoming traffic…that was scary. That scar reminds me of my first cycle vs car collision.
